My trip into NYC Yuki Harima
Hey there everyone. Yuki Harima here. I am awake right now and I will tell you my trip into New York. So on the way to New York, We saw some movies. First was the Lion King and then after that we saw Project X. Now...I will tell you more about them in my review later on possibly today. Anyway we were dropped off in NYC and we headed to the Lego store. My group and I were the only big kids in there and we just looked around. Next we walked to Central Park. I climbed on some rocks and saw some horses-drawn carriages. We then went into the apple store but just briefly. Then we spent some time in the Nintendo store and I was having nostalgia. I saw memorabilia of past consoles and games. I saw the older pokemon games when I was a kid. I saw the old NES. I saw Mother 3, the game that was never released outside of Japan. I saw Zelda...I was having a fan boy moment. We then sat down for lunch and met up with some other people on the bus ride. As I was sitting the best thing comes on. An amazing song that would have people go crazy if they hear it in public. Psy's Gangum style song. If you don't know what it is then look it up on YouTube. When I heard it I was saying "OMG this is the best place ever." So, after lunch we went to the Hershey and I just stood there looking sexy...in my DJ Pon-3 shirt. After that, we went to the M&M store and...I got lost. I went in looking at the store for a half hour and found nothing. So I left and went into the Disney store and then Time Square. Time Square was nice but I wanted to go see Strawberry Fields and the John Lennon memorial. So, as I was walking a guy was bothering me to buy airheads for homeless people. I didn't want any and he kept harassing me. He was claiming that I opened then when the wrapper wasn't even touched. So he said that I have change for you and that you can buy the two airheads for a dollar. So i gave him a five to get off my back and he gave me three airheads and ran. I just stood there thinking "The dirty bastard!" I didn't do anything because he conned me of my own money but I was still angry. So after a while i ran into the Toy's R' Us store and just looked at all the overpriced toys. It wasn't really anything I wanted but I still wanted to take a look around. Then I ran into a big gathering of people and apparently...yesterday was Brazil day so there were a lot of Brazilians there in NYC to celebrate. Then I finally made it to Central Park and reached the John Lennon Memorial. I took some pictures and I paid tribute to him. I found a spot on the ground, put on my Ipod and played Strawberry Fields, Happy Xmas (War is Over), and I heard a guy playing Let it Be near the monument. I started to walk out of the park but I ended up watching a baseball game instead. Then I got lost and I had to call a friend of mine to help me get out of the park and to find somewhere to eat. Then for the rest of the day I was at Rockefeller Center and the St. Patrick Cathedral. Finally on the ride home I saw the Dictator and Role Models. My trip in NYC was fun and memorable so I hope I can do it again in the future. Hopefully I can get to Chinatown and see the sight there.
